UB Participation in TrainingExpert Training ASIIN to Support Internationalization Missions

ASIIN (Akcreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik) is an international accreditation institution whose credibility has been recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology as stated in the Ministry of Education and Culture No. 83 of 2020, regularly conducts assessor training through the programExpert Training. The training provided by ASIIN has technical information that is easy to understand, where participants can open the ASIIN website and then can choose the training schedule according to what is offered.

On this occasion, Universitas Brawijaya (UB) was represented by 2 lecturers namely Dr.Ir. Mustofa Lutfi MP. from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and drg. Kartika Andari Wulan Sp.Pros. from the Faculty of Dentistry. Both are quite active in international accreditation activities, especially ASIIN, because they have previously been part oftask force who oversees the study programs in the respective faculties in preparation for visiting visits in 2019 and 2022.

In addition, the experience of accompanying and being a resource person in a number of study programs that will face ASIIN accreditation outside UB makes both of them confident to improve their abilities asexpert/ assessor organized by the ASIIN Team directly. This activity, carried out online via Zoom Meeting, will be held on 29-30 June and 7 July 2023, starting at 9 European time (14.00 WIB), with a debriefing agenda on international accreditation, work principles, to case studies and discussions.

Participation Dr. Musthofa Lutfi and drg. Kartika is expected to be able to bring positive resonance to the university and UB community members in accelerating and achieving the mission of internationalization which is always echoed. The enthusiasm and strong desire to build a superior UB always pours out from both of them. So that synergy and continuous improvement can be a good effort that will continue to bring significant changes to UB’s progress. RIN
