External Stakeholders

The role of higher education as agent of change and development is a strategic role in an increasing nation competitiveness. In Higher Education Long Term Strategy (HELTS) 2003-2010, the basic policy of higher education focuses that higher education should contribute continously in the increasing national competitiveness through the product and services at the global market. Therefore, a university has to improve the capacity of physical, good government, funding and human resources. In addition, quality insurance unit should be established to be a good and competitive institution. Quality Assurance is university responsibility to public (stakeholders). Satisfaction of the stakeholders through the Excellent Public Service and visions achievement are the priority of quality assurance.

QAC UB commits to uphold the mandate of the application of knowledge to be shared in continuous quality improvement to all colleges across the country (Nusantara). This is in-line with DGHE expectation to disseminate best practices from unit of quality assurance of a university to others. To fulfill the DGHE expectation, QAC UB established Public Service whose task is coordinating all services to the stakeholders from outside UB. QAC service to stakeholders outside UB are:

1. Service of Training of IQAS and BAN-PT accreditation

2. Service of Consultancy and benchmarking of IQAS , and

3. Service of assissting by providing trainer and BAN-PT accreditation.
