Malang – On December 8 2023, the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) Universitas Brawijaya held a Monitoring and Evaluation of 2023 Work Program Achievements event. This event was held at The Shalimar Boutique Hotel, becoming a venue for the Quality Assurance Institute to detail and evaluate the achievements of the work program has been implemented during the current year.
The event was attended by the Chair of the Quality Assurance Institute, Secretary of the Quality Assurance Institute, Deputy for Organizational and Educational Accreditation, Chair of the SPMI Center, Chair of the AIM Center, Chair of the National Accreditation Center, Chair of the International Accreditation Center and staff of the Quality Assurance Institute. In his speech, Dr. Shinta Hadiyantina, S.H., M.H., as Chair of Brawijaya University LPM, underlined the importance of monitoring and evaluation as a basis for improving the quality of education.
Dr. Shinta Hadiyantina presented a series of achievements of various work programs, ranging from improving the quality of academic processes to implementing innovations in the quality assurance aspect. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Widya Dwi Rukmi Putri, STP., MP., as Secretary of LPM, provided a more detailed explanation regarding the evaluation process that has been carried out as well as concrete steps that will be taken to increase the effectiveness of the work program.
As the main results of this event, several evaluation points emerged, including:
- Increased Transparency: Evaluation shows that there is increased transparency in the implementation of the LPM work program. Steps to clarify information regarding agency policies and activities have been identified.
- Quality Assurance Program Effectiveness: The evaluation results highlight LPM’s success in increasing the effectiveness of UB’s internal quality assurance program and its monitoring, as well as efforts to strengthen performance in supporting external quality assurance.
- Commitment to Sustainable Development: The commitment of Brawijaya University LPM in improving quality assurance services for UB internal parties and collaboration with various external parties, as well as human resource development at LPM reflects the direction of the institution’s development for the future.
- Active participation of LPM Deputy Leaders and Staff: The active participation of all LPM Deputy Leaders and Staff in supporting the LPM work program provides a valuable contribution in identifying problems that may exist and developing solutions and potential improvements to achieve the next work program.
With the end of the 2023 Brawijaya University LPM Work Program Achievement Monitoring and Evaluation event, it is hoped that this institution can continue to develop and make a greater contribution in maintaining and improving the quality of education within the University environment.
