UB Participation in “International Accreditation: Lesson Learned and Ways Forward”

Tuesday, 12 July 2023 is the day when UB was honored as one of the speakers at an international conference organized by AQAS in collaboration with the Indonesian Publication House (RPI) which was held at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta. In this activity, UB was represented by Putu Mahardika Adi Saputra SE., M.SI., MA., PH.D. deliver presentations on the themeSuccess stories by Indonesian Universities “International Accreditation: Experience from Universitas Brawijaya”. He shared his experiences andbest practice carried out when facing international accreditation, both strategic, practical and technical experiences. UB’s well-established collaboration with AQAS brings its own pride so that UB is entrusted to convey good conditions and practices to all conference participants.

Other UB delegations were the Dean of FEB Abdul Ghofar, SE., MSi, MAcc., DBA., Ak., CA., Dean of FIB Hamamah, Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FIB Sahiruddin, M.A, Ph.D., Deputy Dean of Finance and Human Resources FCS Nanang Endrayanto, M.Sc., and supporting staff of LPM UB Deputy for Organizational Accreditation and Education Surya Rachma Aditya Eka Putra S.AB. Meanwhile, AQAS, which was attended directly by Doris Herrmann as Managing Director and Ronny Heintze as Senior Consultant, Commissioner for International Projects, handed over certificates of assessment results for accredited UB clusters, namely those belonging to the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Master of Accounting, Doctor of Accounting, Bachelor of Letters English, Bachelor of English Education, Bachelor of French Language and Literature, Master of Linguistics, Master of Animal Science, and Doctor of Animal Science.

 Through other similar activities and opportunities held in Indonesia, it certainly brings great hope for UB so that other universities that will face international accreditation can then benefit from UB’s experience in the process of achieving international recognition to this day. The highest appreciation for UB is an opportunitysharing session This kind of approach also opens opportunities for cooperation and builds broad relations for mutual progress.
