As a concrete step in supporting international recognition at Universitas Brawijaya, Quality Assurance Center (QAC) held a preparation training to participate in international accreditation, which one is IABEE. In 2020, Universitas Brawijaya has a target to increase the number of study programs to get international recognition, both through accreditation and certification.
Quality Assurance Center (QAC), as facilitator in achieving international recognition, has conducted training for study programs that states to get IABEE accreditation. Those study program are Bachelor Program of Civil Engineering, Bachelor Program of Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor Program of Water Resource Engineering, Bachelor Program of Industrial Engineering, and Bachelor Program of Environmental Engineering. Each study programs representing by 5 persons who be participants in accordance with the terms of effective and efficient in a training.
EDUSQUAD Certification Training to Prepare IABEE Accreditation became the theme of the activities carried out during the four (4) days, 25-28 February 2020. Located at Rectorate Building, training takes place in collaboration with the PRIORITIES Training Institute which is an institution under the auspices of the Indonesian Engineers Association focusing on preparation for international accreditation, especially the IABEE. This training aims to equip participants regarding the implementation of OBE needed from how to prepare documents, calculate data to its implications for teaching and learning activities. The speakers who were presented were Prof. Muhammad Romli (IPB), Dr. Tjokorde Walmiki Samadhi (ITB) and Dr. Leni Sophia Heliani (UGM) who also the Director of the EDUSQUAD Training Group. (RIN/AAS)
