In the framework of implementing quality assurance within the Brawijaya University environment, on Friday 8 September 2023, LPM held a virtual socialization with the agenda of Technical Socialization of AIM Implementation and the AIM Schedule for Cycle 22 of 2023. Attended by all Faculty leaders (dean ranks), Heads of Departments, Chairs Study Program, Chair of the Quality Assurance Group, Chair of the Quality Assurance Unit andSupporting Unit Brawijaya University, this activity was carried out as a forum for mutual understanding regarding the technical implementation of Internal Quality Audit (AIM), because AIM is a form of Brawijaya University’s commitment to continuous quality improvement efforts.
The activity began with a report from the Chairman of the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) Dr. Shinta Hadiyantina, SH., MH. which was then officially opened by the Chancellor of Brawijaya University, Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.Med.Sc., In his speech, he gave directions for Quality and quality at Brawijaya University to be maintained, considering that most of the national accreditations are superior and for international accreditation for also maintained. Brawijaya University is one of the best universities in Indonesia, so it must be dynamic in getting used to changes leading to positive steps to achieve strategy.[masterslider id=”13″]
Furthermore, the Head of Quality Internal Audit (AIM) Eko Setiawan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D provided material regarding Technical Socialization of AIM Implementation and the AIM Cycle 22 Year 2023 Schedule, with the aim of:
- Alignment of work units’ Strategic Plans (Renstra) with Brawijaya University’s Strategic Plan
- Readiness to Fulfill Monitoring and Evaluation of Accreditation Ratings (BAN-PT Regulation Number 22 and 23 of 2022);
- Readiness to Fulfill PS Accreditation Documents;
- Annual Performance Evaluation
- Fulfillment of Unit Mandatory Document Requirements.
The scope of Internal Quality Audit (AIM) applies toauditees consisting of: 18 Faculties and 23Supporting Units. AIM Cycle 22 2023 activities start from AIM for Study Programs then Departments, then continue for Faculties and then forSupporting Units. AIM Cycle 22 of 2023 will useSIQA (Quality Assurance Information System)developed by DTI UB. The LPM team as the AIM coordinator at the University level has prepared instruments,template documents and other files intended to make things easierauditees in reporting and preparing files.
